Fellowship-trained spine surgeon Bradley Spence, MD, specializes in treating spinal disorders in adults and adolescents. He possesses extensive surgical expertise in both minimally invasive and complex surgical techniques to address a wide range of spinal conditions. Dr. Spence is enthusiastic about cultivating relationships with patients and delivering exceptional care in northwest Missouri.

Dr. Spence was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. In 2013, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Dr. Spence earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Missouri Orthopedic Institute . Throughout his studies and training, Dr. Spence was selected to join the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha academic societies.

Following his orthopedic surgery residency, Dr. Spence completed a fellowship at the University of Minnesota, Complex Spine Deformity under the guidance of esteemed surgeon Dr. David Polly.

Dr. Spence and his wife, Karen, are excited to return to her hometown of St. Joseph, where they aim to provide the community with state-of-the-art spine care.
